Kerala: Two held for raping mentally-ill woman inside parked bus

The woman, who has mental health issues, was allegedly gang-raped by the men on the pretext of giving her a lift to her home.

The police in Kerala's Kozhikode district have arrested two persons for allegedly raping a 21-year-old woman with mental health issues in a parked bus. According to a report in The New Minute, the woman was allegedly gang-raped by the men on July 5 after they claimed to give her a lift back home. The police said the woman occasionally wandered from home to nearby places and used to return home soon.
