Kerala to allow dining at hotels, restaurants and bars

The Kerala government has allowed restaurants, bars and hotels to start in-house dining with 50 per cent seating capacity.
The Kerala government on Saturday announced that hotels, restaurants and bars will be allowed to start in-house dining only for those who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.Staffers and workers must be fully vaccinated and these places should operate with 50 per cent seating capacity, said Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Air conditioners will not be allowed to be operated, while windows and doors should be kept open for ventilation. However, the vaccine rules will not be applicable to those under 18 years of age, as they are currently not eligible for the Covid-19 vaccination. Indoor stadiums and swimming pools have also been allowed to open for those who have received the double vaccine doses.
