The Kerala government has decided to reopen the schools from November 1, 2021.
With Covid-19 cases at the lowest, the Kerala government has decided to re-open its schools from November 1, 2021, with strict Covid-19 guidelines. The SOPs regarding the same have been handed over to the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan by Minister for Health, Veena George, and Minister for Public Education, V Sivankutty.
Detailed guidelines regarding the academic activities are to be provided at a later date. School-level staff council meetings, PTA meetings and various meetings on different levels are to be held, including the meeting headed by the district collector in this regard.
