An actress was abducted and allegedly molested in her car for two hours by the accused, who had forced their way into the vehicle on the night of February 17, 2017. The entire act was filmed by them to blackmail the actress. There are 10 accused in the 2017 case, including Dileep, who was arrested and later released on bail.
Dileep is currently being probed by Kerala Crime Branch after Dileep's former friend and director Balachandra Kumar submitted before the court that Dileep and others were in possession of the assault clips and conspired to harm the investigation officer of the case.
