A petition has been filed before the Kerala High Court seeking compensation for the girl students, who were asked to remove their innerwear before appearing for the NEET exam in the Kollam district of Kerala.
The petitioner also sought an order in favour of the students by directing the National Testing Agency to re-conduct the NEET exam within two weeks prior to the release of the results.
The court will consider the petition today.
Earlier last week, the National Testing Agency (NTA) constituted a three-member fact-finding committee to probe the alleged incident in Kollam where girl students were asked to remove her innerwear before appearing for the NEET exam.
Two teachers in charge of conducting the exam were arrested on Thursday, July 21.
Earlier, on Tuesday, five people, including two college staffers, were arrested in connection with the alleged incident. Three of the arrested were from the agency entrusted to conduct the exam by the National Testing Agency.
