Kerala CM Vijayan announced further easing of restrictions on Sabarimala pilgrimage, allowing devotees to stay overnight.
The Kerala government led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday announced further easing of restrictions for Sabarimala pilgrimage as the number of Covid cases in the state is on a steady decline. The decision was taken at a meeting between CM Vijayan and Devaswom Minister K Radhakrishnan.
As per the revised guidelines, devotees will now be allowed to stay overnight at Sannidhanam and over 500 rooms have been set up. It has been assured that strict Covid guidelines will be followed.
