Kenya charges ex-tourism minister, 2 others in multimillion-dollar fraud case

Former Cabinet Secretary for Tourism Najib Balala of Kenya has been charged for allegedly defrauding tens of millions of dollars in inflated costs.

Balala is the first high profile person to be charged with corruption under President William Ruto’s administration. The three were released after posting bail.
