Kejriwal is scared, says BJP’s Tajinder Bagga after high court stays his arrest

Arvind Kejriwal sent the Punjab Police after him, which goes to show how scared the AAP chief is, BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga claimed after being granted relief by the high court.
After the Punjab and Haryana High Court stayed his arrest at a midnight hearing, BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga disparaged Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal for misusing his powers to silence critics.
“No matter how many FIRs you [Kejriwal] file to intimidate BJP workers, we won’t be scared. I am ready for all the FIRs you lodge against me, I won’t back down,” said Bagga on Sunday.
Because Kejriwal sent the Punjab Police after him, that goes to show how scared the Delhi Chief Minister is, Bagga claimed.
The BJP youth wing leader raised the issue of the sacrilege of the Guru Granth Sahib in Punjab, questioning why the AAP government had yet to take action against the perpetrators. Instead, the state government had put those who committed sacrilege in positions of power, Bagga alleged without naming anyone.
“Kejriwal ji had talked of action against those who sabotaged the Guru Granth Sahib within 24 hours, but still no arrests have been made. Rather, you have given promotion to the people who do sacrilege. You will have to remove them,” he said.

In no small relief to Bagga, the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Saturday night directed that no coercive step be taken against the Delhi BJP leader till May 10. The order came hours after the Mohali court issued an arrest warrant in connection with a case registered against Bagga by the Punjab Police last month. Bagga then moved the high court challenging it.
