Kathy Bates addresses Ozempic rumors after 100-pound weight loss: 'This was hard work'
Fox News
Kathy Bates credited both hard work and Ozempic medication for her diabetes diagnosis for helping her lose 100 pounds over a span of seven years.
Bates, 76, admitted to using the medication, but was adamant that she put in the work herself, both mentally and physically. "I have to impress upon people out there that this was hard work for me, especially during the pandemic. It’s very hard to say you’ve had enough." "I have a treadmill here at the house, and I might try Pilates. People always ask, 'Don't you want a trainer?' No, I really don't. I don't want anybody over my shoulder. It's just very important to me to keep this going. I don't want to slip." Tracy Wright is an entertainment reporter for Fox News Digital. Send story tips to Tracy.Wright@fox.com.
She noted that her weight-loss journey began years ago, and she lost 80 pounds before using Ozempic, which then helped her shed another 20 pounds.
