It may be a mixed bag for weather this weekend, but it doesn't mean you should stay home because there are lots of events happening in and around Waterloo region.
The Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery is also hosting an Art in the Park event Saturday morning in Kitchener's Victoria Park.
The Fergus Medieval Faire is on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Templin Gardens, downtown Fergus. Visit Elvin Alley, watch a live falconer show and take in live knight battles. There's also live entertainment throughout the day.
There's a kick-off event for the K-W Hiking chapter of Black Canadian Hikers on Saturday morning starting at 10 a.m. where people of all skill levels will hit the Columbia Hills loop trail. Registration is required.

It's a weekend of music in Waterloo with performances by Alex Cuba, Jesse Cook, the 3D Jazz Trio, Sammy Jackson, youth ensembles and Freshwater Funk, to name a few.
There's also a family area that will include chalk drawings, bucket drumming and bubbles.
