"The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family," the Princess of Wales said in a video statement.
Kate Middleton shared a video on social media on Monday announcing that she has completed chemotherapy after it was revealed in March that she had cancer.
“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” reads the social media post.
Middleton narrates the accompanying video using the same language.
In her post, the Princess of Wales says the last nine months have been “incredibly tough” on her family and that cancer is “complex, scary and unpredictable” and has made her and her husband, Prince William, reflect and be grateful.
Her focus now is remaining cancer-free, she says, adding that she is looking forward to going back to work and attending more public engagements in the coming months.
