PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the first phase of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham on Monday. The Prime Minister is on a 48-hour visit to Varanasi, his parliamentary constituency.

As his cavalcade rolled through the city, PM Modi was met with chants and hymns by locals who had lined up on the side of the streets to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister. Some even waved tricolours from their balconies and verandahs as the Prime Minister's convoy made its way through the narrow streets of Varanasi.
