Karti Chidambaram took bribe for visas to Chinese workers, say sources

The CBI is conducting multiple searches at the homes and offices of Congress leader Karti Chidambaram.

Congress leader Karti Chidambaram was allegedly involved in facilitating visas to Chinese workers for the Talwandi Sabo Power Limited project in lieu of a bribe, said sources. This comes as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducts multiple searches at the homes and offices of Karti Chidambaram in connection with an ongoing case, his office told ANI. Searches are being conducted at seven places, including his residence.

During the INX probe, the CBI had recovered some documents which showed this inward and outward transactions linked to Karti
