Theatres in Karnataka will operate at 50 per cent occupancy due to rise in Covid-19 cases. Due to the second wave of Covid-19, the Karnataka government has introduced fresh SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) to be followed.
Karnataka has been seeing a surge in Covid-19 cases since March and the government has released a new set of SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) to be followed. According to the latest guidelines, theatres in Karnataka will operate with 50 per cent occupancy in around eight districts. This decision has not gone down well with the Kannada film industry. Goin bk to 50% theatrical occupancy is surely a shocker to a film tats jus released. Respecting the govts decision too is our duty, keeping in mind its for a reason. Earlier, the government had allowed theatres to operate in full capacity as there was a considerable decrease in Covid-19 cases.
