
Karnataka seeks to develop industrial township at abandoned Kolar Gold Fields

Karnataka's Large & Medium Industries Minister, Murugesh R Nirani, submitted a memorandum to the Centre, seeking to make an industrial township on the 3,212 acres of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) land.
In an attempt to make an industrial township on the 3,212 acres of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) land in Karnataka's Kolar district, the state's Large & Medium Industries Minister, Murugesh R Nirani, submitted a memorandum to Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines, Pralhad Joshi, on Wednesday. Murugesh R Nirani briefed Pralhad Joshi about the possibilities of reviving industries in the underdeveloped KGF region and surrounding areas that have huge potential for industrial growth.More Related News
