Karnataka: Over 1 lakh people to sing Kannada songs on Oct 28 to celebrate language

Over 1 lakh people will be singing Kannada songs on October 28 to celebrate the language ahead of Kannada Rajyotsava on November 1.
Kannada and Culture Minister Sunil Kumar on Tuesday announced a week-long Kannada campaign to celebrate the language ahead of Kannada Rajyotsava on November 1.
The campaign--"Matadu Matadu Kannada"-- which translates to "Talk Talk Kannada", will see more than a lakh people across Karnataka singing Kannada songs on October 28. This will include IAS, IPS and UPSC officials who will sing along with others during the campaign.
