The seers of 17 Lingayat mutts in Karnataka have released a statement in support of Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa amid speculation over a change in leadership in the state. Rudramuni of Shadakshara mutt said, "Yediyurappa was the main reason BJP grew in Karnataka. He is being cornered, harassed and caused mental pain. We condemn this as seers. People should stop troubling him."
