Karnataka govt to keep schools, colleges open for offline classes

The government of Karnataka has decided to keep the educational institutes, including schools and colleges, open despite the rise in Covid-19 cases.
The government of Karnataka does not have any plans to shut down the colleges and schools in the state despite the recent spike in Covid-19 cases in several educational institutes. This news was confirmed by Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddiyurappa. Apart from keeping the educational institutes in the state open despite the rapid spread of the virus, the chief minister has also ruled out any kind of lockdown in the state. He has states that the offline classes in institutes will continue as per schedule. He has denied the closure of educational institutes, including schools and colleges, in the state for the time being but has stated that this decision will be reconsidered if the number of Covid-19 cases in the state keeps increasing in the next few days.More Related News
