Karnataka Congress to launch '100 not out campaign' to protest against fuel price hike

Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) will launch a '100 not out campaign' from June 11 across the state against the increase in fuel prices. The party will also hold protests at 5,000 petrol pumps.
With petrol rates crossing the Rs 100 mark in several parts of the country, the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) will launch a “100 not out campaign” from June 11 across the state against the central government over the steep hike in fuel prices. The party will hold demonstrations at 5,000 petrol pumps as a part of the five-day campaign. “The KPCC is organising a five-day long ‘100 not-out campaign’ from June 11 to 15 and will hold protests at 5,000 major petrol pumps in the state. On June 11, protests will be held in all the district headquarters, at all the taluk headquarters on June 12, in hoblis on June 13, in all gram panchayats on June 14 and in all other major portions of the state on June 15,” state party chief DK Shivakumar said while addressing a press conference at party headquarters in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Stating that the protests will be organised while following all Covid-19 protocols, DK Shivakumar said, “The party leaders will be supervising the protests through Zoom calls. Also, all Congress leaders will be making one-minute videos sharing their views against the fuel price hike and will share them with our IT cell.”More Related News
