Congress MLA MB Patli has alleged discrepancy in the number of black fungus cases being reported by the state government.
Amid a spike in mucormycosis cases in Karnataka, Congress MLA MB Patil has accused the BJP government of under-reporting black fungus cases. As per the Vijayapura Dist administration's report, there are 127 reported cases of Black Fungus between May 17th-31st. Out of them, 81 patients are currently under treatment. However, in the Mucormycosis Report updated on June 1st, only 57 cases are mentioned. 1/2 pic.twitter.com/ko60P3hu3c The former Karnataka home minister claimed that in his Vijayapura constituency, there were 127 cases of black fungus as on May 31. However, the state data showed just 57 cases in the Vijaypura district as on June 1. "As per the Vijayapura district administration's report, there are 127 reported cases of black fungus between May 17-31. Out of them, 81 patients are currently under treatment. However, in the mucormycosis report updated on June 1, only 57 cases are mentioned," MB Patil said.More Related News
