The Karnataka Congress launched a campaign titled “Nimma Hathira Idaya Uttara? [Do you have answers for our questions]” against the ruling BJP over its failure to fulfill poll promises and alleged the BJP was indulging in corruption instead of focusing on good governance.
The Karnataka Congress has launched a campaign against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state. Hitting out against the ruling government over failing to fulfil poll promises, the Congress alleged that the BJP is indulging in corruption and communalism instead of focusing on good governance.
In the campaign titled “Nimma Hathira Idaya Uttara? [Do you have answers to our questions]”, the Congress stated that Kannadigas had always voted for peace, progress, and prosperity in the state, but the current situation of the state of Karnataka was saddening.
Hitting out, the Congress claimed, “The BJP, which acquired power through the infamous 'Operation Kamala', instead of focusing on good governance, maintaining peace, pro-farmer policies, employment opportunities, and women's safety, is just involved in corruption, commissions, and communalism.”
The campaign further alleged that the BJP had failed to fulfil over 90 per cent of its promises and needed to be held accountable.
The campaign termed the BJP government as “illegitimate” and said that it used hatred and communalism to hide from being held accountable for its failures.
1. The 40% government, led by its weak CM, has failed to fulfil more than 90% of its 600 promises.
2. The BJP failed to waive farm loans and did not fulfil even 10% of the promises made to farmers.
