
Karnataka colleges, universities asked to continue with online classes

The government of Karnataka has asked all the colleges and universities in the state to continue with online classes in view of the pandemic.
Karnataka Higher Education Minister Dr CN Ashwatha Narayan has asked all the universities and colleges in the state to continue with online classes for the next semester even though the exams for the ongoing semesters are still pending. The education minister said that the classes should be conducted online for the time being and the remaining examinations for odd semesters of UG programs can be conducted/scheduled once the pandemic situation comes under control. For professional courses like engineering that have some restrictions on carryover to higher semesters, Narayana has advised the Vice-Chancellors/Principals to work out the details in consultation with the Karnataka State Higher Education Council.More Related News
