Karnataka Chief Minister has written a letter to Oxford University, condemning the religion-based attack on Rashmi Samant by a university faculty member.

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has written a letter to Oxford University regarding the targeting of Indian student Rashmi Samant by a faculty member over her Hindu religion. Rashmi Samant, who created history by becoming the first Indian woman to be elected President of the Oxford Student Union (SU), had resigned from the post in a few days after facing severe backlash over some past social media posts. She was called out for being racist due to her anti-Semitic posts.
