
Karnataka CM rules out lockdown, calls all-party meet on tackling Covid, Congress remains undecided

Karnataka CM Yediyurappa has now ruled out a lockdown in the state and also called for an all-party meeting to discuss ways to tackle the Covid-19 spread.
The Karnataka government has made a complete U-turn on the speculation over a lockdown in the state following the spike in Covid-19 cases and said there will be no lockdown in the state. Karnataka CM has also called an all-party meeting on April 18. Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has clarified that there will be no lockdown in Karnataka and even the technical advisory committee on Covid-19 has not suggested a lockdown. Yediyurappa said, "There is no question of lockdown in the state. The protocol will have to be followed." Earlier, the CM had said there will be a lockdown if people don't cooperate, but on Tuesday he clarified that there will be no lockdown.More Related News
