The Karnataka CM distributed Tablet PCs for 1.55 lakh students and created 2500 smart classrooms among other initiatives to bridge the digital divide among students in the state.
Karnataka Chief Minister, BS Yediyurappa rolled out the ambitious initiatives of the government implemented at the cost of about Rs 195 crores on Wednesday to promote digital learning and to bridge the digital-divide in higher education. The initiatives launched by the chief minister at the Banquet Hall in Vidhana Soudha includes distributing Tablet PCs for 1.55 lakh students amounting to Rs 163 crores, creation of 2500 smart classrooms by spending Rs 27.77 crores, and development of a Learning Management System (LMS) at a cost of Rs 4.04 crores.More Related News
