Around 10,000 candidates have applied under special categories and various clauses. All of them will be given the opportunity to submit documents for verification over a period of 10 days to establish eligibility. Candidates are advised to bring all original documents relevant to their claim for verification.
Candidates must attend the verification on the date and time they have booked in advance. Arrangements have been made to verify the documents of up to 1,000 candidates per day.
Candidates who make corrections in their application after the verification must undergo the verification process again. Otherwise, their corrections or claims will not be considered valid, Mr. Prasanna warned.
The deadline for editing errors in the application is May 2. Over 16,000 candidates have already made corrections. All such candidates must visit their respective PU college or the nearest government PU college again to get their applications re-verified, he advised.
