Karnataka CD row: Woman resurfaces after 25 days, records statement before magistrate

The woman in the CD case involving former Karnataka minister Ramesh Jarkiholi appeared before a magistrate on Tuesday and recorded her statement, after being untraceable for more than 25 days.
After more than 25 days of being untraceable, the woman in the Karnataka CD row appeared before a magistrate on Tuesday. She recorded her statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. She was there for more than two hours and was then taken to Adugodi Technical Cell to record her statement again under Section 161 of the CrPC. “She has given her statement before the magistrate now. Police should arrest accused Ramesh Jarkiholi right away,” the woman’s lawyer Jagadish said.More Related News
