Karnataka BJP worker death: 3 more arrested, cops probe PFI links

The Karnataka Police arrested three more people in connection with the death of BJP Yuva Morcha leader Praveen Nettaru.
Three more people were arrested on Thursday in connection with the death of a BJP Yuva Morcha worker, Praveen Nettaru. So far, a total of ten people have been arrested in connection with the case.
“Today, around 8 am, Dakshina Kannada Police nabbed three people who were involved in the murder. Earlier, we had arrested 7 people who were part of the conspiracy. So, a total of 10 people were arrested,” ADGP Mangaluru said on Thursday.
The police said the accused were hiding in Talapady. The accused have been identified as Shiabuddin, Basheer and Riyaz.
“Now, we're going to ask for police custody and after obtaining custody of all 3 we are going to question them thoroughly. All these factors will be brought on record and after that, we will hand over the case to NIA. The order has already been issued in that regard,” ADGP Mangaluru said.

The arrested accused are suspected to have links to the Popular Front of India (PFI). Further investigation in the case is underway.
Praveen Nettaru, a BJP Yuva Morcha leader, was hacked to death with lethal weapons by unidentified people in front of his broiler shop when he was heading home after closing his shop on July 26.
