Karnataka BJP files complaint against Rahul Gandhi, Siddaramaiah for violating Forest Act

Karnataka BJP leaders have filed a complaint against Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi , Siddaramaiah, KK George and MB Patil with forest officials for violation of the Forest Act.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders of Karnataka’s Gundlupet area have filed a complaint with forest officials against Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi , Siddaramaiah, KK George and MB Patil for stopping and getting down of vehicle inside Bandipur forest and tiger zone.
It’s against the law for anyone to get off a car in the Bandipur forest and tiger zone. However, Rahul Gandhi entered Karnataka through Bandipur forest and he was welcomed by state Congress leaders. It is seen as a violation of the Forest Act.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi was welcomed with torn posters in the state when the Bharat Jodo Yatra entered its Karnataka leg on Friday. In Karnataka, the Bharat Jodo Yatra will be vital for Congress leaders fighting against the ruling BJP.
The yatra is also an opportunity for former chief minister and leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly, Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar to prove their mettle to Rahul Gandhi.
