Kareena Kapoor makes OTT debut with Sujoy Ghosh’s Netflix film, shares BTS videos and pics

Kareena Kapoor will soon be making her OTT debut with Sujoy Ghosh's Netflix film. The actress took to social media today, March 16, to announce the same with BTS videos and pictures.

Fans of Kareena Kapoor, there's some exciting news for you all! The Bollywood superstar is finally making her web debut now. On Wednesday, March 16, the actress took to social media to announce the same. Kareena's first OTT project is with Netflix’s screen adaptation of Japanese author Keigo Higashino’s acclaimed work, The Devotion of Suspect X. It is being helmed by Sujoy Ghosh. Kareena shared some BTS (behind-the-scene) moments from the sets on her Instagram account.

Kareena Kapoor will be returning to work for the first time after her second child, Jeh's birth. Her debut OTT project will also star Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat of Paatal Lok fame. Sharing the news, Kareena wrote on her official Instagram account, “And so it begins 12th Street Entertainment and Northern Lights Films in association with Boundscript and Kross Pictures present a Netflix Original directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Produced by Jay Shewakramani and Akshai Puri. Produced by Sujoy Ghosh and Thomas Kim (sic)." Kareena also shared some BTS videos and stills from the film's sets.

Talking about her OTT debut, Kareena told Hindustan Times, “I’m very excited to be a part of this project for several reasons This film will mark my streaming debut and it’s my return to acting after my second child with a stellar cast and crew." Kareena welcomed her second son, Jeh, in February 2021.

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor will also be seen opposite Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha.
