Kareena Kapoor Khan, last seen in the comedy drama Angrezi Medium(2020), returned to the big screen with Laal Singh Chaddha. The Aamir Khan-led movie opened in theatres on August 11 and received mixed to positive reviews. Now, here is some more sweet news for Bebo fans. Kareena visited her dad Randhir Kapoor's house to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with her family. Aadar Jain shared a photo from the celebrations. In it, the Kapoor clan is seen spending some quality time together.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, however, missed the party as they are in Italy for their babymoon. Karisma Kapoor too wasn't able to attend the gathering.
Laal Singh Chaddha, meanwhile, has created a buzz in the industry. It marks Kareena's third collaboration with Aamir Khan after 3 Idiots and Talaash. It is an adaptation of the Tom Hanks-led classic Forrest Gump. Laal Singh Chaddha revolves around Aamir's character, a simpleton who has a unique take on important events from India's past.
The cast includes Naga Chaitanya, Mona Singh, and Manav Vij. Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo in the movie. Laal Singh Chaddha marks Chay's Bollywood debut. Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi was originally supposed to enter the Hindi film industry with Laal Singh Chaddha but opted out as he wasn't able to adjust his dates.
