Kanye West changed his Instagram profile picture on Wednesday. However, instead of using a picture of himself, he used a photo of his former mother-in-law Kris Jenner.
In a peculiar move, Kanye West changed his Instagram profile picture to a photo of his ex-mother-in-law Kris Jenner.
The rapper, entrepreneur and fashion designer left his fans surprised by the move. He, then, also took to Instagram stories to reveal the reason behind the same. He clarified that the decision did not stem from a feud and was neither a dig at Kris.

In his Instagram story, Kanye expressed that he changed his display picture out of peace and respect. “I posted Kris with thoughts of peace and respect lets [sic] change the narrative,” he wrote. The picture is the exact same photo that Kris is using for her account.
The message was published a few weeks after Kanye went on a social media rampage against Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian. In one of his posts, which is now deleted, he targeted Kris for allowing Kim and Kylie to pose for Playboy.
He recently apologised to Kim for causing stress in her life. “This is the mother of my children, and I apologise for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration, because God calls me to be stronger,” the rapper said.
“I need this person to be less stressed and of the best, sound mind,” he said in a new interview. “And as calm as possible to be able to raise those children at the end of the day,” he added.
