A constable posted in the Kanpur Crime Branch has been suspended for making indecent remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a female IAS officer.
As per the information, Constable Ajay Gupta, posted in the Kanpur Crime Branch, had made indecent remarks against the Prime Minister and a woman IAS officer on Twitter. Ajay Gupta had put out multiple controversial tweets and replies.
After the screengrabs of his tweets and replies went viral on social media, the officials took cognizance and ordered an inquiry. The Headquarters also took cognizance of the matter, after which the constable has been suspended.
Ajay Gupta had been posted in the Crime Branch of the Commissionerate for a long time.
It should be noted that the police medals were announced on August 14. Ajay Gupta had raised questions from the officers of the Commissionerate to the DGP regarding the medal list.
On that, the Commissionerate Police also gave their answer. Meanwhile, some of his old tweets have also surfaced.
In response, he made derogatory remarks on the PM and a woman IAS officer. Many more similar tweets were also made from his account.
