Kanpur: All three men accused of gang-rape of 13-year-old girl arrested, say police

All three man accused of the gang-rape of a 13-year-old girl from Kanpur's Sajeti have been arrested, police said on Saturday.

All three men accused of gang-rape of a minor girl in Kanpur's Sajeti have been arrested, said police on Saturday. While two were arrested earlier, a third one has been nabbed today in the case of the gang-rape of a 13-year-old girl from Kanpur's Sajeti. "All three accused have been arrested. Two were arrested before, third one nabbed today. Case registered under Sec 376 IPC & POCSO Act. We will file the chargesheet based on evidence in the court now," news agency ANI quoted Preetinder Singh, Kanpur SSP as saying. Earlier, two sub-inspectors and a constable were suspended for laxity following the gang-rape case and the death of her father in a road accident.
