Kannada film producer Ramu dies of Covid-19, celebs offer condolences

On Monday, the Kannada film industry mourned the loss of producer Ramu, who passed away at a private hospital in Bengaluru due to Covid-19. Ramu was married to actress Malashree.

Kannada film producer Ramu passed away on Monday due to Covid-19. He is known for bankrolling several action films, like AK-47, Lockup Death, Chamundi, Hollywood, Kiccha, Kalasipalya. His last venture was 99, an official remake of the Tamil film 99 starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha in lead roles. Several celebrities like Kichcha Sudeep, Parul Yadav, Rakshit Shetty, Karthik Jayaram, Puneeth Rajkumar, etc., took to social media to offer condolences to the family.
