Kangana Ranaut believed a parody video of the Qatar Airways CEO to be true and called him an ‘idiot of a man’ on Instagram. The actress has now deleted her posts on the photo-sharing platform.
Kangana Ranaut and controversies go hand in hand. No, really. Last year, the actress was banned from Twitter because of a controversy and the saga continues as this time she goofed up on Instagram. It all started when a Twitter user took the liberty of dubbing a parody video of Qatar Airways chief, Akbar Al-Baker, talking about the #BycottQatarAirways controversy. The Padma Shri awardee fell prey to the spoof video and angrily responded to people who were ‘cheering this bully.’ However, Kangana has now deleted her posts, following widespread ridicule.
It all began when a Twitter user, Vashudev, shared a video on the diplomatic row over the comments made by now suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. In the clip, the man talked about the controversy and how painter MF Hussain was given refuge in Qatar after he painted nude portraits of Hindu goddesses. Vasudev's account has now been blocked on Twitter. On the other hand, the Qatar Airways’ chief, Akbar Al-Baker, did sit down with Al-Jazeera to discuss the #BycottQatarAirways controversy.
Later, another Twitter user made a spoofed video by dubbing the Qatar Airways chief Akbar Al-Baker's same interview. The clip was packed with sarcastic jibes, making it sound like Akbar Al Baker is personally appealing to Vashudev to call off his boycott.

Kangana Ranaut seems to have believed the parody video to be true and lashed out at people "cheering this bully" on Instagram. "All so-called Indians who are cheering this bully for making fun of a poor man remember this is exactly why you all are a big bojh (burden) on this overpopulated country," she wrote in one of her Instagram stories.
