New Zealand captain Kane Williamson is likely to be sidelined for close to two months as he will need time to recover from a troublesome elbow that forced him to sit out of the recently-concluded 2nd Test against India in Mumbai.
Kane Williamson is likely to miss the 2-Test series against Bangladesh at home and the limited-overs tour of Australia before possibly returning for the 2-Test series against South Africa, starting February 17 at home. Williamson managed the elbow tendon injury during the second half of IPL 2021 and the T20 World Cup. Williamson was part of the first Test against India in Kanpur as he led the team to a fighting draw.
