Kamal Haasan and director-actor Bharathiraja's friendship goes back a long way. Recently, Bharathiraja was hospitalised after undergoing treatment for lung-related issues. Bharathiraja was discharged and is currently resting at home. Kamal Haasan took to Twitter to share a series of tweets wishing him good health. He also recalled the conversation they had at the hospital.
Kamal Haasan visited director Bharathiraja at the hospital and asked him to get better soon. Days after hospitalisation, Bharathiraja was discharged.
Kamal Haasan took to Twitter to wish Bharathiraja good health. His tweet in Tamil is translated as, "Bharathiraja, who got discharged recently, spoke to me and shared the good news over a phone call. When I went to visit him in hospital, I told him that I did not wish to see him like this and asked him to get better and return home soon. 'Ok see you later for sure, Bye,' he said. He kept up his word. Here's wishing good health to my friend from Theni."
