Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh is in a critical condition and has been put on life-saving support, doctors at a Lucknow hospital said.

Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh's health condition is critical, doctors at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, said on Wednesday. Kalyan Singh, 89, has been intubated and put on life-saving support system after his condition deteriorated Tuesday evening. His clinical parameters are being closely monitored by expert consultants, doctors said.
