Madurai City Traffic Police have closed Kalpalam Road (leading to Sri Meenakshi Government Arts College for Women) for vehicular traffic to facilitate construction work of Goripalayam flyover, in Madurai on Sunday.
Hence, vehicles that were hitherto using this road to proceed to Sellur and Arapalayam from Goripalayam junction will have to go through the Moongilkadai Street on the other side of A.V. Bridge.
