Over a month after a young girl was found dead on her school premises, her parents met Tamil Nadu CM Stalin and sought justice for their daughter.
The parents of the 17-year-old girl who was found dead on July 14 on the school premises met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin at the state secretariat on Saturday. The parents demanded justice for their daughter and strict action against culprits.
The girl's mother, Selvi, and father, Ramalingam, met the chief minister and asked for a fast-paced investigation into the case.
"We met CM for Justice for my daughter and requested that the offenders be punished. We also requested that a fast paced investigation be done," said Selvi. She further added, "CM has assured that whoever is responsible for my daughter’s death will be punished."
The family had approached the court requesting for copy of the JIPMER three doctor team analysis on the two postmortem reports of the student. The court had denied access to it saying the case is under investigation.
"JIPMER analysis report has not been given to us. We were told to take it from Court, we don’t know what the report says. We feel that some details of the Postmortem report are not completely true. We wanted a doctor of our choice but that was given. So we are worried," the parents of the 17-year-old girl said.
The mother also alleged that the school did not share the campus CCTV visuals with them.
Selvi said, "The organisation has still not shown us the CCTV footage of the school on the date of the incident and that raises suspicion."
