As many as 120 stalls of artists from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts and from Kerala have come up on the road leading to Kadri Park.
Among the stalls include the one of 72-year old Rajan from Kannur district who displayed attractive acrylic paintings on mythology namely ‘Ananthashayana’ and ‘Durga Devi’.
Another senior artist D.L. Achar from Udupi had displayed several landscape paintings and also portraits of well-known Yakshagana artist Sanjeeva Suvarna.
Class 8 student Adith and Dr B. Jayaprakash displayed drawings related to culture and traditions of Tulunadu in their stalls.
There was good number of visitors to the stall of K. Laxminarayana. The artist was creating portraits and caricatures at a charge of ₹100 and ₹200. At the stall of artist John Chandran, people were seen taking selfies in front of lifesized cartoons of Tulu, Kannada and Hindi actors. Another artist Daya had a stall where he charged ₹50 to make a person come out with their own drawing using charcoal powder.
Abhishek, Harish Badiger, Omkar and Siddharth, students of C.E. Kamath Institute of Artisans, Miyaru, Karkala, Udupi district, displayed sculptures of Krishna Shila.

Minister for Electricity, Prohibition, and Excise V.
