ENG vs SA, 2nd Test: England are trailing by 40 runs in their first innings after bowling South Africa out for 151 in the post-lunch session of Day 1 of the Manchester Test.
Fast bowler Kagiso Rabada said that South Africa’s decision to play two specialist spinners, Simon Harmer and Keshav Maharaj, in the second Test against England was justified, keeping in mind the playing conditions.
Maharaj played the opening Test at Lord’s and the Proteas also roped Harmer in for the second Test. Rabada, who became the Player of the Match in the first Test, reckoned that the pitch at Old Trafford in Manchester is gradually starting to help spinners to a large extent.

Rabada also said that batting first was the right way to go forward for the visiting team in the ongoing match.
"Generally if you're playing two spinners, you want to bat first,” Rabada was quoted as saying.
"The wicket is getting drier and drier by the second. Simon was in the game, his second ball turned quite a bit. It was the right decision," he stated.
