A herd of at least 40-50 elephants intruded into Odisha's Mayurbhanj district on Tuesday and marauded houses and paddy crop in the area. The forest officials have now warded off the herd from the area.
Panic gripped Odisha's Mayurbhanj district on Tuesday morning after a herd of elephants from Jharkhand’s Dalma forest intruded into the district. A herd comprising at least 40-50 elephants of various age groups marauded the villages in Betnoti, Baripada, Udala, Deuli and Rasgobindpur forest range, causing damage to houses and paddy crops in the area.More Related News
