Johannesburg Test: Dean Elgar leads South Africa to 1st-ever win at Wanderers over India, level series

South Africa vs India, 2nd Test: Proteas captain Dean Elgar finished the match unbeaten on 96 as he led his team to a seven-wicket win over India at the Wanderers to level the three-match series 1-1.

Captain Dean Elgar led the way as South Africa beat India by seven wickets to level the three-match Test series 1-1. Elgar ended the innings unbeaten on 96 off 188 balls as the Proteas chased down a target of 240 and recorded their first-ever win over India in a Test match at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on Thursday.

The decisive third Test will be played in Cape Town from January 11.
