Joey Chestnut will take his enormous stomach to Texas and compete against soldiers at Fort Bliss on the Fourth of July. He will not compete in the famous contest.
Chestnut will not compete in the hot dog eating contest because of his deal with the company. Ryan Gaydos is a senior editor for Fox News Digital.
Chestnut, who ate a record-setting 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes during the 2021 event, said he was "gutted" when he learned he couldn’t compete in the event. He said he loves the atmosphere at the event and the fans who come out to see the competition.
