The Jawaharlal Nehru University Teachers' Association has demanded improved guidelines for candidate evaluation.
The Jawaharlal Nehru University Teachers' Association (JNUTA) has demanded a consultation to be held across the university to develop guidelines for the conducting and evaluation of viva-voce tests in a fair manner. This demand was a result of allegations made by both students and teachers regarding the anomalies in the process of admission to PhD programmes of the university, in particular, the discrimination faced by students belonging to marginalised sections.
