
JioFiber tops India’s broadband speed, Vi gave fastest mobile internet in last quarter of 2020

Reliance JioFiber gave the highest average speeds on wired broadband in the fourth quarter of 2020, while Vodafone Idea has topped the mobile internet speeds chart in India, according to Ookla’s Speedtest Consumer Sentiment data for the last quarter of 2020. India has topped Ookla’s charts to give the fastest wired broadband mean internet speeds among SAARC countries which include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. JioFiber gave a mean download speed of 80 Mbps, whereas ACT Fibernet gave a mean of 75 Mbps speed and ranked second, according to a graph posted by Ookla, that showed mean fixed broadband internet speeds for the last quarter of 2020. JioFiber also had the highest rating at 3.7 stars, according to Ookla’s Speedtest Consumer Sentiment data and was also the only internet service provider that got a positive Net Promoter Score (NPS) in terms of broadband speed. JioFIber was followed by Airtel Xstream Fiber and Excitel. India led the wired broadband internet speeds in the fourth quarter while the Maldives aced the top internet speeds category. BSNL and Hathway remained at the tail-end of wired broadband speeds in the fourth quarter of 2020. BSNL gave the slowest mean download speed where fixed broadband ratings were counted while Hathway had the lowest rating and the lowest NPS.More Related News
