Jimmy Kimmel earned a massive cheer from his studio audience on Wednesday after suggesting how President Donald Trump could make his greatest contribution to America yet.
Kimmel discussed what he called a “rollercoaster of a day” which saw a stock market rally following Trump’s announcement that he would pause most of his controversial tariffs.
“Think about that,” Kimmel said. “The best thing Trump has ever done for America was undo the incredibly dumb thing he did.”
Then he asked: “I mean, imagine if he quit?”
The audience erupted.
