Jewish girls booted off plane in Amsterdam, rabbi suspects anti-Semitism
Fox News
A group of Jewish girls who were trying to fly home to New York got stuck in Amsterdam after two planes booted them. A rabbi suspects anti-Semitism.
Fifty-six Jewish girls from New York and New Jersey had traveled to Eastern Europe on a two-week tour to visit ancient Jewish sites. Sarah, the girls' chaperone, spoke with Fox News about her experience on the planes with the group, and also attributed the harsh treatment to anti-Semitism. "I can’t see any other reason" for them to get booted from the planes, she told Fox News. She noted that a security guard with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, a partner with Delta Air Lines, followed the group of girls two and a half weeks after they first arrived in Amsterdam. "I definitely think we were targeted. It doesn’t make sense any other way. We didn’t do anything." Speaking to Fox News, a Delta spokesman blamed the girls for the disturbance that delayed Delta 47, a Friday morning flight, by two hours. Kahan and Sarah both contested that account.More Related News
